Titanic’s Keys to the Past is a new Hidden Object adventure game presented by Nat Geo Games that tells you the old tragic story of the sinking of the giant ocean liner for the umpteenth time... Read more

Of course, the main heroine has a connection to this ship, as her great-great-grandmother was among those perished on it. Meeting with the grandmother’s spirit and traveling back in time to the night of the shipwreck are waiting for there. In spite of a pretty trite plot, game’s screenshots presented this premise as promising one. Unfortunately, screenshots can’t tell you about its poor gameplay.

If there is someone going far into the game, he deserves respect, as this installment is a miserable fail. Firstly, there is no direction on which way to go and what to do. You are never sure exactly what you are looking for or why you come there. But the absolute worst part of Titanic’s Keys to the Past is puzzles which has no sense there at all. Match-three puzzles can easily drive you crazy as they are the slowest match-three puzzles you’ve ever played.

As for hidden object puzzles, most of them are on the same level of annoyance. The task of looking for a needle in a haystack in dark places isn’t the most interesting one, isn’t it? To crown it all, every random click is strictly penalized. Do the developers really believe this add much challenge? Ha-ha!

The in-game sounds just add fuel to the fire and make you crying out load. But for the polished graphics Titanic’s Keys to the Past would be never mentioned at all.

Ultimately, this title could have been better and even immersive if there had been executed in a really professional way. Honestly, this is the worst game about the Titanic.
