UNSOLVED MYSTERY CLUB: ANCIENT ASTRONAUTS COLLECTOR'S EDITION Review by DoubleGames
Unsolved Mystery Club: Ancient Astronauts is the second part of the series by Big Fish Games. From the outset, there are both positive and negative characteristics of the game. It is fortunately more polished and longer than the previous one though, Unsolved Mystery Club: Ancient Astronauts can’t be called irreproachable in some aspects.
Were there any space explorations in the early civilizations? Five scientists are trying to find an answer to this question, looking for pros and cons of the conspiracy theory dealing with this problem. But their investigation gets them involved into some mystery, and the five explorers go missing. As to the storyline, it is quite specific and larger-than-life, but the gameplay this plot is presented through makes the story a bit crumpled. The point is that as the game progresses, every next chapter grows shorter and less interesting. The complexity decreases instead of developing. It seems as if the developers were running out of time or the expenditure to release the project. The game beginning has all the bells and whistles, while the remaining chapters are slapped together making the final unimaginative and expressionless. Unfortunately, the spectacular turns into a kind of hasty by the end, and the gamers will hardly see what they expect.
Adverting the graphical and musical design of Unsolved Mystery Club: Ancient Astronauts, there are no faults found with them. The gorgeous backgrounds are drawn very well and the characters look splendid. This is a visually engaging game indeed. Unsolved Mystery Club: Ancient Astronauts is not the game, where it’s better to switch the music off. It varies from one location to another and is really listenable. One of the most brilliant examples of the musical themes is the Egyptian melodies.
Whether or no, Unsolved Mystery Club: Ancient Astronauts is definitely worthy of attention. In spite of some blemishes, it can give a lot to entertain you and to develop your Hidden Object gaming skills.
