WEIRD PARK: BROKEN TUNE COLLECTOR'S EDITION Review by DoubleGames
Most of us was looking forward to a great Halloween treat on this holiday’s eve. Weird Park: Broken Tune has been recently launched by Alawar Entertainment and set itself up as a worthy Hidden Object installment.
From the start, it’s obvious Weird Park: Broken Tune is one of the most interesting and exciting Hidden Object titles, and for several reasons. It goes without saying that the artwork is gorgeous. Detailed scenes are neat, creating such creepy atmosphere and the effect of credibility. The protagonists are memorable and just add on horrifying game environment. Lots of animated parts and videos are the other game’s advantages and players with weaker nerves might scream a few times.
In addition to great value productions, Weird Park: Broken Tune also can boas of its clever hidden object scenes and puzzles. Unlike most sibling installments, here the scenes are always support the main game idea. You will never have a task out of story. Item hunting job is pleasant – no obscure or tiny objects. Everything what you need is just to be watchful and accurate while looking for this or that item.
On the downside of the puzzle part, it’s that its puzzles can be too primitive from time to time. For the newcomers to the Hidden Object genre, this is an ideal game, however for advanced players, it is absolutely plain. To crown it all, there is no “wow factor” the fans wanted in season titles. The stupid clowns popping up and doing nothing there can drive you crazy.
All in all, what do we need on Halloween? Spooky and spine-chilling atmosphere to create holiday mood. By the way, from this point of view Weird Park: Broken Tune is perfectly done. Happy Halloween!
