Angels Fall First

About 5 years ago indie devs from Strangely Interactive set on a mission to create a wholesome FPS/space fight experience due to the lack of the aforementioned combination of genres in one game. As a result, they released Angels Fall First (or simply AFF) in the Early Access stage on Steam. The game itself is exactly what it advertises. It's a mixed-arms first-person action game that is set in a sci-fi scenario. There are battles in outer space where you can operate mini starfighters or huge spaceships to destroy the enemy fleet. The key concept of the game is as follows: you can do anything at any stage of your military operation. Let's get back to the outer space scene: you can be spaceship commander, dropship pilot, or infantry team leader of the boarding party simultaneously! The single-player mode has full AI support and incredibly intelligent bots who can replace your friends if they're reluctant to play at AFF. Speaking of friends, you can invite up to 64 players to join in the multiplayer mayhem, frantic shooter situation you're dealing with.
