Animal Genius

All the tasks of the game are based on knowing basic facts about different types of animals. Animal Genius starts off with five empty terrains and it’s up to the player to fill them up with five animals each. To achieve this goal and unlock the animal, player has to answer 10 simple yes or no questions, like can a raccoon fly? or does a parrot have feathers? To make this simple task a little bit more challenging the developers decided to limit the time per level.

The game has a very important element of educational games: the learning is rewarded. Animal Genius rewards players for getting the right answer. The minigames don’t require a super knowledge of animals, but the harder bonus questions gives the player a lot more points, making the learning element enjoyable because it helps, but never hinders.

Despite poor production values, the game is very playable and addictive. Not for adults, of course, but for kids under age of 10. If you want your child to spend time in a more productive way, Animal Genius is a good educational simulation to choose for him. Enjoy it!
