Antique Shop was developed by Meridian93 Inc. It is a time management game with the elements of hidden object genre and adventure game. The main hero of the game has a map leading to an ancient Greek treasure, but she doesn’t have enough money to organize an archeological expedition. You should help her to earn that money by selling antique stuff in an antique store.

The gameplay of Antique Shop can be divided into two parts. In the first part, devoted to the time management genre you have to earn enough money to start the hidden object part of the game. This part is rather simple: customers ask for items and you provide them. The better service you have, the happier your customers are. Hidden object games require you to find lots of items for your shop. To understand what item you need, you have to solve a number of puzzles. This task is pretty hard but there is a good system of hints which highlights the item you are looking for.

We didn’t like the fact that it takes too long to get to the hidden object part. You have to earn lots of money to make your first archeological trip.

The graphics in Antique Shop is quite good, but the music is really horrible. Annoying midi track that repeated randomly from level to level made us turn the sound off.

In general the game is very entertaining. We think that veterans of the time management genre will like Antique Shop’s challenge and hidden object fans will have the chance to discover a new genre.
