Cradle of Rome produced by Awem Studio is a match 3 game on a historical theme. You start with a an empty land, and in the process of play you are watching the changes. To succeed in building you should have enough resources, like gold, supplies and food. So the tiles you match represent different materials, provision and coins. This feature makes gameplay strategic because you have to keep an eye on the quantity of all neccesary things. As for me, it was a great pleasure to see how the land became a powerful city.
The remarkable option of the Cradle of Rome is the ability to select the epoch you play: seven hills, birth of empire, gladiators’ arena, age of glory, and so on. It is very interesting and amazing! But still I can name one defect which seems important: there is only one game mode. The water jar to the right of the screen is a timer. If it becomes empty, you’ll have to start the game once more. It’s really tiresome. Still, all of other options like full-screen button, music on/off, and different bonuses, power-ups don’t let you be disappointed.
The atmosphere of ancient times, good music for the game, and colorful graphics make the Cradle of Rome a nice way of spending your free time.
