One glance is enough to define Deadly Sin 2: Shining Faith as a gorgeously pixelated game followed by Japanese style mainly. The storyline is captivating and well-narrated, though some characters are too ordinary for this sort of game. City illustrations are full of life, and the story moves swiftly, bringing lots of surprises and challenges. The whole gameplay will approximately take 24 hours, only one day of your life. It has you visiting different lands, fighting against enemies which become just more and more sinister. Most battles are extremely interesting, requiring good strategy skills. There you can also expect few simple puzzles just for a change.

Although Deadly Sin 2: Shining Faith is packed with a good production values, this title provides us with a few twists. Its gameplay is not unique, and experienced role-playing players could find similar features between this installment and others, but it is, however, very good made. Still, some battle scenes can be too annoying and unimaginative. Sometimes you can find yourself wandering about a location half an hour with no idea what to do next.

Surely, today practically impossible to reinvent the wheel and shake up this genre, but this game has you much to do and explore. If you don’t search for any absolute new title, try this one.
