Inspector Parker reminded me of Agatha Christie’s Poirot. On playing as his assistant I instantly cought the “detective fever” and really got into the whole investigating-and-cracking-the-case stuff. The bad thing is that the eyewitnesses’ statements are written in a very small font and I had to tense my eyes to read it. But as for the rest, I loved the design with extremely beautiful graphics in an old English style. Besides, the Parker’s sharp tongue and biting remarks add life-like atmosphere. Done with a good sense of humour the game though is rather puzzling and requires some wits!
