Jessica's Bow Wow Bistro

Unfortunately, Jessica’s Bow Wow Bistro by Gamers Digital can be called the best example of Time Management games. In fact, this one does not only bring in anything fresh into the genre, but even drags it down in a way. If a beginner judges the category in general relying on the impressions of this game only, the category would definitely lose a potential fan.

Well, the idea of the plot is not so worn though. Jessica leaves her Cupcake Cafe and makes a decision to establish something ever new. The bakery for dogs is a really unexpected business plan! But the presentation of such a game storyline leaves much to be desired. As opposed to more qualitative Time Management games, Jessica’s Bow Wow Bistro begins rather slowly, what conflicts with the concept of the genre itself. Besides, you have to bake one recipe only per a level, and this monotony lasts for the first ten ones! While there are 50 basic levels and five extra levels to pass through, their goals hardly change. Therefore the gameplay isn’t a long suit of Jessica’s Bow Wow Bistro, which can scarcely arouse great interest.

The graphical design of the game can’t be estimated negatively, but it’s too habitual at the same time. Moreover, the locations themselves are very repetitive and seem to differ in color only. If not shattered, they are the same not only within this game, but resemble the locations of many other Time Management games.

As to the music, it is a bit annoying as well as dogs’ voice acting. The dog-themed game seems to be worked on properly in this aspect at least! Well, one more deficiency is on hand!

Summing up, Jessica’s Bow Wow Bistro is more than a mediocre Time Management game. No outstanding feature makes the players shelve it having tried it once.
