LOST IN THE CITY Review by DoubleGames
The Lost in the City game produced by Elephant Games company is nice HOG. The story begins with a date of the main hero and a girl April. But when he comes to himself in the desolate city full of strange and deserted locations, your mission starts.
The variety of puzzle is great, but repetitive: you get to play jigsaw puzzle games, a unique lock-picking game, and a sphere game which gets more and more challenging as you progress into the game. This is aside from many of the game riddles and passwords you’ll have to figure out along the way, all rewarding you with points depending on how fast you finish each mini-game. The points here are very important, cause the game features a Secrets menu. There you can exchange your points for text, image and puzzle secrets not revealed to you during the actual missions. It was a real surprise for us!
The graphics is colorful, but what is really great is the atmosphere! Mysterious city, uninhabited places… Do you feel send shivers up and down? The game has 2 modes: timed Classic and unlimited Light, so choose any you like. There are a lot of items to find and to get, but there is no useless object - all of them are important to the hero’s quest, as sometimes followed-up by a brief explanation on why he’s gathering such items.
The Lost in the City is a long game enough. We can’t call it mind-blowing but it’s really nice and addictive to play!
