A creepy storyline is a safe choice for some hidden object game. To be on the safe side, Mumbo Jumbo chooses a quite interesting spooky storyline for its new casual game Midnight Mysteries 2: Salem Witch Trials.

It stands to mention, the plot is captivating so far and is a fine compliment to the gameplay. Midnight Mysteries 2: Salem Witch Trials considers as a classical hidden object title with lots of busy backgrounds to explore. Moreover, your interactions and conversations with different phantoms and spirits will open new places to investigate. There is an in-game journal that has vital information and clues to progress, so reading it will be quite helpful.

Anyway, you will note the good balance of the hidden object scenes with the adventure part of the game. Graphically, this installment is excellent but for some vague scenes. Midnight Mysteries 2: Salem Witch Trials is meant to be eerie and hence the backgrounds are on the dark side. Surely, that is great for environment but sometimes hard on the eyes. Furthermore, the game is complicated with well-hidden items that can be inside or under other items in the scene. These items are not indicated, so the search of these objects may take you a lot of time. But we do not think that this fact will disappoint the real fans of this genre.

The puzzles just as mini-games are well-organized but still easy enough to be solved. Still, the developers managed to please us offering the task of clover-hunting in each scene. If you find 50 clovers you will unlock an unlimited hidden object play mode. Luckily, the music and sound effects are suitable and not too annoying or provoking. Thrilling story, addictive gameplay from beginning to end. What else do we need?
