REINCARNATIONS: UNCOVER THE PAST COLLECTOR'S EDITION Review by DoubleGames
Do you remember Jane from Hidden Object Adventure Reincarnations: Awakening, a girl, who could return to her previous lives? One of the largest game developers Big Fish Games released the sequel of this game under the title Reincarnations: Uncover the Past, where Jane will face again a lot of difficulties and problems to solve.
This time around the girl becomes prisoner of the insidious doctor Weiner and finds herself in a psychiatric hospital. Together with Jane the player has to visit previous lives of our hero (there are actually only two), in order to do it, he goes at first to Victorian London and then to Renaissance Venice.
Uncover the Past is a classic Hidden Object game, where you have to find all objects from the given list, some of them you should add to your inventory in order to use them later by solving various puzzles. The puzzles vary actually from really mediocre to very very hard, there are, however as usual some dull riddles. It should be stressed that the game offers us a very pleasant graphic as well as nice sound. To many random clicks will be punished, so it’s recommended to use the hint button in case you’ll get stuck somewhere in the middle of the level.
The Collector’s Edition include screen saver, wallpapers and soundtrack from the game. There is also a bonus level, which elongates the general duration of the game. All in all, the extra materials in special edition will be interesting only perhaps for big fans of this game series.
Reincarnations: Uncover the Past can be defined as a worthy game, which, however didn’t bring any innovations to us, but which, nevertheless, can please those players, who also liked the first part of the game series.
