The Legacy Company offers you a captivating point-and-click adventure The Sinking Island. Playing as a detective Jack Norm, you have to investigate the murder of one billionaire. So you must go everywhere, pick up everything that is not nailed down, solve a few logical puzzles, and talk to all the suspects about everything new that pops up. You’ll have to move across the whole island searching for the suspects, who are scattered everywhere. And what a pity there is no the map to simplify your investigation.
The game can be played in normal mode and time-limited mode. Honestly, we didn’t feel the difference between them. There is a nice feature like PPA, a Personal Police Assistant. It keeps all information you get through the game like different documents, items, here you can match photos of a suspect’s shoes and imprints on the sand near the murder scene and analyze other things to help your investigation. One aspect to mention – you’ll need some time to open it up.
What is really worth admiration is graphics. Beautiful backgrounds, detailed architecture, animated characters, but their mouths don’t move somehow when they speak. It looks oddly, but in general the characters have full voice acting with optional subtitles. We can say that The Sinking Island is a high-quality and enjoyable game which can’t disappointment.
