THE CLUMSYS 2: BUTTERFLY EFFECT Review by DoubleGames
Can you imagine that some prehistoric butterfly is able to break the course of human history? Well, it is not a bad storyline for some Hollywood thriller or action movie, is it? But The Clumsys 2: Butterfly Effect, from Gogii Games, is just another hidden object game that has you exploring the length and breadth of all locations.
Visually, The Clumsys 2: Butterfly Effect produces a good effect and looks quite promising. Each scene is accurate, vivid and the hidden items, while very well masked, are clear enough that will be pointed out with very little use of hints. The objects are often simple and unlike most games in the genre, this very title provides players with silhouettes of the hidden objects, removing any vagueness of the task.
The majority of players will be pleased by the absence of penalty system. The Clumsys 2: Butterfly Effect permits players to click as much as they like. But at the end of each level you will see a statistics screen that includes such information as mission time, used hints and quantity of random clicks.
Unfortunately, the issue can become pretty repetitive after awhile. Monotonous tasks like searching or guessing may turn into routine and make you feel tired. Perhaps, experienced gamers will find this point-and-click adventure too facile for their skills.
Still, the title is worth playing since it has a fine educational portion. While you are searching for one or another object, you can view some interesting information about where and when the invention was made. Thus The Clumsys 2: Butterfly Effect will be probably appreciated by the beginners or young gamers.
