Electronic Arts gaming company and its division Redwood Shores present you a new arcade shooter, called The Sims Carnival BumperBlast. This game doesn’t refer to the popular series of games about virtual world of Sims and their daily activities. Probably this loud name was used only to attract a certain group of players to this casual creation.
The game features an unusual gameplay. Each level has a unique layout, such as a ship on water or a maze, and you should shoot your ball in a certain manner that allows it to go through the layout. Your goal is to shoot a picture of sim. Various obstacles like walls and black holes will try to stop your ball, so you have to choose the right trajectory to avoid contact with them. To ease your mission the game provides several original power-ups, which allow your ball to destroy the walls it is touching, or go straight through them.
Production values of the game are quite good. It has a good length - about 140 levels spread out over various pattern themes including Crazy Cloud, Outrageous Orange, Savvy Sunflower, Snowy Screwball and many others. All levels are beautiful and very well drawn.
