Veronica And The Book of Dreams

It is very strange, but Veronica and the Book of Dreams is not a hidden object or even time management game; it is a match 3 “Gothic” adventure. OK, we may suggest why it is “Gothic”, anyway, the main heroine is a vampires’ huntress who learned about her predestination in…a library. Just imagine: when you are going to prepare exams somebody forces you to fight against vampires…

So, our newborn Buffy immediately begins to fight against evil spirits. But how? She is moving the balls and cards, gathering them according to the color… All in all the instructions of the game are so chaotic that it is hard to understand what to do and what, finally, you should get. In addition, there is something wrong with the cursor: it chooses the unnecessary objects to click or jumps back and forth as a crazy monkey, so that you have to catch it. But the point is: there is no time to be lost!

You will have to replay the same level several times. Moreover, the game is too dark, sometimes it is very difficult to discern the objects. That is why you have to click by guesswork, and maybe a good luck will smile at you!

And this game action happens under music of organ, which, according to the authors, should create Gothic atmosphere, but actually begins to irritate after three minutes.

To sum up Veronica and the Book of Dreams is not a game of your dreams. Especially when there are many really decent games in this genre.

A trivial plot, boring puzzles, the banal graphics, horrible sounds and silly dialogs, all that doesn’t apply for a joyful pastime.
