XIII - Lost Identity

XIII: Lost Identity is a new casual title from Anuman Interactive that replenishes the box of Hidden Object games. Revolving around an amnesiac male hero who tries to reveal his secret past, this point-and-click installment plunge us into intriguing adventure atmosphere.

We must admit that the story of solving the mystery of someone’s identity is actually a good one. A nice comic style perfectly restore action-drama but challenging level of this title is ridiculously low. Some of the is so tiny, that even asking for a hint, it is still hard to find them. The endless cluttered hidden object scenes are broken by the same primitive and square puzzles and mini-games.

Visually, XIII: Lost Identity looks pretty ordinary. The common view of this game is not bad but the artwork in the interactive background scenes is awful. The developers chose for their characters a cartoon image. Well, why not at all? Some designers use this trick successfully. But unfortunately, this time around, it looks really cheap.

The music background isn’t so intrusive and most of sound effects suit the scenes. There is no voice-over but there are plenty of absolutely boring dialogues. This game could provide us with a good entertainment portion, if the developers had known accurately what they did.

Today we have got much more interesting game than XIII: Lost Identity. Sorry for being so strict.
