CHRONICLES OF ALBIAN: THE MAGIC CONVENTION Review by DoubleGames
How long ago have you got a headache and aching eyes? Play Chronicles of Albian: The Magic Convention, a new hidden object title from Joindots, to experience these ailments.
At first sight this gameplay reminds us everybody’s favorite hidden object game Gardenscapes. Hoping on their relationship, we believed that Chronicles of Albian: The Magic Convention would have the same high quality graphics and interesting gameplay. But nothing of the kind! Initially this game had to delight those who were fond of decorating, building, and all that between clever hidden object scenes. Unfortunately, this challenge was spoiled by awkward hidden object puzzles.
Though we are able to struggle through such games with tiny items, it is rather hard to play titles with blur colors. In Chronicles of Albian: The Magic Convention, instead of hidden object games getting more clever, the developers just seem to make the hidden objects tinier and harder to find. If you have special glasses or magnifying lens, you really need them to use there. To our mind, objects should be a normal size and shape, not so small and vague that the fun is taken away. You start with only three hints, and they carry over from one to another location. So do not hurry to use them, if you are going to proceed further within this game. The music is as monotonous as this gameplay. Still if you are crazy about straightforward hidden object games, this one is for you. And happy gaming for all those who have eagle-eye. But who prefer well-balanced titles, let’s hopefully wait for tomorrow’s day that probably bring a better game.
