Echoes of the Past: The Citadels of Time Collector's Edition

Big Fish Games never stop making all the fans of Hidden Object Games happy!  Echoes of the Past: The Citadels of Time Collector’s Edition is the third installment in the Echoes of The Past series and by far the best.

The first thing we should start with is that the quality of this game is fantastic. It is one of the most beautiful games you have ever played. The graphics were clear and the scenes so pretty. But the hidden object portion of the game was just difficult enough to give you time to enjoy the art work as you looked for your hidden object’s. But in common the game played smoothly with no glitches. The developers gave players a huge variety of puzzles with varying degrees of difficulty: some of them real easy, many of them difficult. But with all of this we consider it more as an Adventure than Hidden Object game. 

There are two play modes: “Regular”, which gives additional hints and highlights active areas and “Advanced” which does not highlight active areas. Since you are playing in Advanced one you check out every scene to check out what objects you need so when you come across them you know where they need to go.

Unfortunately Echoes of the Past: The Citadels of Time Collector’s Edition is not a full screen game and it makes it very difficult to maneuver around small objects. But you will like having to solve all the puzzles because there are a lot of them, to get an object to move to another portion of the game.

There is a little of everything, very entertaining, played most of the weekend in Echoes of the Past: The Citadels of Time Collector’s Edition! Bonus play was a good length and also fun and it will take you eight hours to complete the game. Don’t think much, just download this game and enjoy it!
