Later through the game, you move to the frightful but picturesque town scenes, where you are to find the means to send the Demons back to the netherworld. The story captures your interest as you’re trying to drive away each of the Demons. As to the gameplay of Sacra Terra: Angelic Night, much work is put into its elaboration. The depth of the gameplay just amazes making the game difficult to stop.

The game would not be so gorgeous but for its brilliant graphics. So much attention is paid to the work on the details, that you feel yourself excited and scared at the same time. The bloodstained hospital wards or the splendid cathedral locations just absorb your eyes and attention. The gloomy atmosphere of the town invaded by the Demons is increased by the haunting background melodies, oppressive yells, echoes and other sounds. They are designed so skillfully that even the fact of no voice-acting in the game doesn’t mar the impression.
