THE THREE MUSKETEERS: D'ARTAGNAN AND THE 12 JEWELS Review by DoubleGames
The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan and the 12 Jewels by Anuman Interactive is a case when we have almost nothing positive to say. The story begins with D’Artagnan leaving his home in Gasconge and traveling to Paris to become a Muskateer. And then the weirdness begins. Gameplay is a bit odd in this one. This game could be fun but waiting to find out how long it is. We were also incredibly disoriented by the opening screen. Every time we tried to move the mouse to click on something, the whole screen would move and it took a few minutes to understand what to do.
The graphics are clear, but the game recommends turning brightness up on monitors and we did find that it was necessary. Anyone who’s fussy about fancy graphics won’t like this one. It’s a pretty simple format. The lack of professionalism in design is obvious. There are not any background sound. There is some music but it gets very repetitious and annoying, just a few bars with a trumpet. There are no voice overs which is bad, too much reading and not enough action.
Too many great hidden object games you can get nowadays and if you really want to play one, try to find something else. There’s nothing really outstanding about this game. It’s strange, it’s nauseating, it’s poorly animated, and it was just not fun in the least. The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan and the 12 Jewels could be fine if you are blessed with infinite patience and dоn’t suffer with motion sickness. Its a personal choice of course.
