YOUDA SAFARI Review by DoubleGames
We are well acquainted with Youda Games that gave us lots of interesting games, teaching us how to make sushi and run farm business. These developers are not couch potatoes and keep on surprising us again and again. This time around, we are tasked to create safari park in the new game under the title Youda Safari.
In comparison with the previous Youda’s premises, Youda Safari is one of few games that have a plot, although it is not deep enough. You step into Lucy’s shoes helping her friend with putting to rights his safari. The gameplay is made in the manner of Youda Farmer – lots of chores and very repetitive. Of course, things soon become more complicated but as you progress all activities get routine very quickly. Neither upgrades nor new stages are able to mask gameplay’s ennui.
Within 20 or so levels you adapt yourself to the ramping up difficulty. If it is so, Youda Safari will fade in your eyes inevitably. The sore points of the gameplay are compensated by the nice cartoon style artwork. In spite of this fact that the developers were too sparing in proportions of items there, they are all easily recognizable and notable. The images of animals are real good there, and each is charmingly fascinating.
This title belongs to the much respected game developers but unfortunately they did not manage to overcome lots of irritating bugs. This time management installment is very busy, but it hardly ever can be related to the usual challenge or fascination. The title is not bad, but we believed in it and reckoned on Youda Games’ experience. By the way, did we note that it was too annoying?
