Delicious: Emily's Holiday Season!

We should report that the basic gameplay has not changed greatly, which is not a bad thing in a well-established series whose mechanics are already as balanced as possible. You control Emily, throughout five different locations, and you are also able to choose between three different grades of difficulty, so that everyone should feel comfortable no matter how experienced he or she is with time management games in general. Unfortunately, Emily’s Diary Mode is still absent, so you have to go without any sort of endless mode.

Along with regular activities the story is loaded with unexpected twists, witty dialogues and additional tasks, which make the title much polished. In fact the game is not simple as it might seem at first glance. There are always plenty of things to click on in Delicious series, and Emily’s Holiday Season is not an exception. Every time the things get more complex, making you as busy as a bee. It is clear that your success depends on your mouse clicking experience. Anyway if you can’t match the level, you’ll have to repeat the day.

Speaking about graphics and atmosphere of the game, we cannot but admit they are almost perfect. The animations and facial expressions of the characters during the levels and sequences are very believable and cute; sometimes you might even think you are watching a soap opera with all its thrilling intrigues, varying love interests, and surprises.

The only thing might disappoint about Delicious: Emily’s Holiday Season is that it is not as innovative as the previous titles of the series. But on the other hand, why change a well-organized game just for the sake of change? The game is good for those who are in love with time management genre. Get in the mood for the holiday since it is just around the corner!
