Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Bane of the Family Collector's Edition

Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Bane of the Family is a new Hidden Object game from ERS G-Studio that has you breaking the curse and save your family from werewolf.

To start with the analysis of the game titles, we can deduce that we deal with the classical Hidden Object game as we tried many other series from this developer (Shadow Wolf, Puppet Show, Haunted Legends). The story starts with the usual scene – we can see a man become a wolf. Then we immediately find ourselves involved into the vortex of events. Honestly, the events are not so exciting as the premise has promised us.

The hidden object scenes as vague as ever, but the graphics are still improved as the hand down objects didn’t stick out nearly as much as it were in the previous installments. The animations seem rushed a bit, making the image of some characters very odd. Unfortunately, the voice-over is quite poor, the music background is the same as ever boring and sometimes even obtrusive.

While the artwork is stunning and puzzles are rather challenging, we still cannot fall in love with Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Bane of the Family. The main shortage of it is the ordinary plot and pretty much standard gameplay.

On New Year’s Eve we wants something new and exciting but instead of this we are offered the same storylines, same gameplays and same puzzles. Sorry to say this but it seems to us that the developers run out of steam to the end of the year. Well, probably they will improve next year. Let’s hope for better days! In the meantime, we have nothing to do but clench our teeth and try our Hidden Object skills in Wolf Mysteries: Bane of the Family.
