The Scruffs: Return of the Duke

Tastes differ!  It’s hard to dispute this proverb as we are very very different in our minds and tastes. Some prefer to play spooky adventures, while others are keen on hilarious titles.

So, The Scruffs: Return of the Duke is not everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who are longing to get out of the dark creepy mansions, gloomy asylums, lost towns and away from the accompanying spiders, witches, ghost, this game is a great change-up!

The first meet the Scruffs was rather a nice surprise than a real “wow”. Nevertheless, this title was a playable Saturday morning cartoon that gave us a good break from all those dreary Hidden Object adventure puzzle games. In case with the second chapter from Sweet Tooth Games, The Scruffs: Return of the Duke, we have the same situation but now the new title became more sophisticated and refined.

The story begins rather vigorous without any detraction. The charm and wonderful sense of humor spice up the game, making it just all funnier. Bouncing around the ridiculous world of the Scuffs is pure joy. The Hidden Object scenes are just tough enough and each chapter includes a puzzle that can be quite challenging. The mini-games are also interesting to solve but some of them can be too clear for the veterans of Hidden Object games.

Of course, the improved graphics are the first point that attracts in The Scruffs: Return of the Duke. A vivid view of Hidden Object scenes adds much on playing and creates highly pleasant atmosphere. The voice-overs are great, as well as the music background. 

The Scruffs: Return of the Duke is made both for heart and eyes. It is a terrific installment that give us a fine break from the seriousness of the latest Hidden Object games.
