Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors

Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors is a gloomy hidden object game from Top Evidence Studio that is set in a gloomy deserted house. According to the storyline, this estate has been left after many people vanished inside, and the main hero Stan Riddle gets imprisoned there by the evil Lord of Mirrors.

Being a hidden object title, Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors involves there tons of typical puzzles, mini-games and riddles. Like many similar games of this genre, the premise mixes items quests with adventure gameplay obliging players to interact with certain regions in each room. Usually the game is quite obvious about what it requires, thought there are many cases of embarrassment in which a fairy clear decision to a problem is absolutely out of place. With clear graphics and well-drawn items, the hidden object tasks are routine and not challenging at all there.

There you can observe the parade of worn-out puzzles that you have already seen and enjoyed in other hidden object titles. Certainly, they are all ok and well-made but we are just sick of solving them over and over again in game after game. Most you will probably see the close resemblance of Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors to Mystery Cases Files: Return to Ravenhearst, which is an example to follow for most developers. However, with its unlimited hints and untimed gameplay, this title offers you no pressure.       

Although the game is full of repetitious things, the good production values save it from disregard. The locations are very vivid with lots of little touches, like twisted shadows or splashes that really make the atmosphere of the game quite charming.
