You will probably say that the story of the Titanic is hackneyed today, but luckily this plot has nothing to do with the actual events. The title manifests itself as hidden object game, however, it looks more like an ordinary adventure issue, since many inventory puzzles are involved there. It is well-executed game with smooth gameplay even though it is not always clear where it leads to. In that way, you have to follow all these lengthy dialogs to get some important instructions or clues. But who likes these boring small talks?

Fine portrayed typical British characters are striking, so you cannot but point out the heroes’ arrogance, snobbism, and their unruffled manner of behavior. As odd and artificial as the storyline are also most of the compulsory tasks, for example, the protagonist has to repair pipe or dish out a boiled egg to open another location. In other words, the developers offers you to “fiddle while Rome is burning”, i. e. specious and crummy puzzles, which bear no relation to the game concept. By the way, get ready to the same queer end of Hidden Mysteries: The Fateful Voyage – Titanic!

So, the mini-games are various, not difficult and can be skipped anytime. Thanks to well-done artwork, hidden object puzzles do not seem so useless or weird. If the graphics are polished, the music has only several repetitive tunes that will annoy you within ten minutes. In our opinion, Hidden Mysteries: The Fateful Voyage – Titanic deserves only a satisfactory mark.
