Escape from Tarkov looks promising judging from all the trailers that have gone viral recently. It's a first-person shooter with a high emphasis on realism and tactics. Developers added an RPG element that allows you to train your playable character in many abilities and upgrade the given weapon to your advantage. The game is an online-based MMO which means you're going to interact with other players in real-time teaming up or performing heart-pounding suicide missions alone. This is the game where you'd check on the character's condition as there are readings for hydration, fractures, wounds, and other injuries. The realistic behavior of a firearm goes beyond perfect shooting mechanics. You need to take care of it, check for overheating and damage as opposed to simple reloading and carrying behind your back. Story-wise you need to unravel the dirty business that unfolds in Tarkov after choosing the side you'd like to be with. Apart from two confronting fractions, you should beware of Scavs who are the armed locals driven by bloodlust and scavenge. You can play as one of them for a change without sacrificing the progression of your main character. The main goal is to Escape from Tarkov just like the title suggests. But it's easier said than done in the given conditions of ongoing conflict where your closest teammates could betray you any time.
