The game includes both adventure and HOG features and has similar mechanics with Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst. You travel from location to location, interacting with the environment to solve inventory puzzles. As you play, some locations will trigger hidden object scenes, where you’ll need to find objects that are hidden in very busy backgrounds. Puzzle elements are fairly light but still deliver a good punch, forcing you to scratch your head once or twice, and then quickly rewarding you with the solution. The setting feels old and dusty and conveys the post-earthquake feeling extraordinarily well, complete with odd sounds from time to time. The cut scenes are interesting and of a good quality. What is really bad is that the objects in some cases are close to being completely hidden.

Escape the Museum 2 a surprisingly long game, nearly twice the length of similar titles! It offers to roam through 37 rooms with more than 100 levels, each with unique challenges for you to confront as you strive to make your escape. Another positive has to be the Hidden Object scenes that are crisp and well lit, which just adds to the lively game play offered in this title. Your progress will be saved in Hidden Object scenes that you navigate away from, so feel free to explore your surroundings. This game is a wonderful example of logical gameplay that gives players multi-level entertainment.

That will be a nice experience for an average or advanced player. It’s challenging, and definitely a keeper if you love the genre.
