HAUNTED LEGENDS: STONE GUEST REVIEW BY DOUBLEGAMES

Let’s be real here, not every single one hidden object game for pc/mac is worth playing and deserves our attention. Even the same developers can make both decent and kind of blah games. ERS-Games studio is the good example of these studios, and their game we’re reviewing today is far from perfect but we felt like talking about it anyway. So, welcome to Haunted Legends: The Stone Guest, the fifth installment in the series... Read more

What’s the first thing in hidden object game that attracts our attention? Of course, the storyline, but unfortunately this is not a case for this game. Here we get to deal with a desperate father, Doctor Leporello who needs to find the right cure for his sick son. Meanwhile children disappear one by one and poor mister Leporello is being accused of kidnapping them. Even though this kind of story is as old as time, it had some potential, which faded away very quickly. Plus it develops very slow and doesn’t surprises us with any exciting events or unexpected twists.

Haunted Legends: The Stone Guest looks exactly like all the previous games of this franchise. Sometimes we had a feeling we’ve already seen this or that location in another game. Graphics are great, but don’t have anything spectacular. Hidden object scenes are clear and colorful, but again look very familiar. Sound effects are great, music is thrilling and totally fits the atmosphere of the game, but just like the visual representation doesn’t offer us anything special.

Funny thing, but the gameplay doesn’t have to offer us anything new either. It’s easy, dull and a little boring. All in all there are much cooler pc/mac games to play so we don’t recommend you waste time on this one. Haunted Legends: The Stone Guest is good only for the fans of the series, but not for all hidden object fans.
