Have you ever thought of what scares you the most when you watch a horror movie? Is it the blood and gore? Is it all the killing and stabbing, or some ghosts and special effects? For most of us, it is the sound and the music. There is always something very ominous in the music which is playing, as if there was something very evil lurking behind the scenes. Obviously, this is a fact known to the developing team called ERS G- Studio, because they have made a really good game under the name of Maestro: Music from the Void. This game plays with the premise that the music is something really scary and mysterious, and if you want to find out what are the secrets and mysteries hidden behind hauntingly beautiful music notes, then download and play the free trial version of this game! Of course, if you really like it, you can purchase the full unlimited version of it... Read more

ERS G- Studio has always created games with original storylines and this is the case once again. Maestro: Music from the Void introduces us to the story based in Vienna, where you are sent to investigate the mysterious disappearance of two musical talents. As if this was not enough, there are some mysterious and evil shadows which attack people in the city! All that you know is that all this is somehow connected to music: namely, there is always some eerie and scary music playing when these mystical crimes happen. You suspect a ghost of a great violinist, but to make sure this is the solution to the problem, you must play the game! There is also one artifact you will have to acquire if you want to defeat the shadows! Authentic Vienna atmosphere and this original storyline will make you interested for sure!

As for the gameplay, Maestro: Music from the Void is the perfect example how to create a game. First of all, this hidden object game is enriched with elements from puzzles and mini-games. When you start the game, you can choose between three levels of difficulty. The game itself consists of seven chapters and different bonuses if you purchase the Collector’s edition. Hidden object scenes are very interesting, mainly because they are not made in the usual way, with textual lists. Instead, we have silhouettes of objects or something like that, which makes the game more challenging also. Directly tied to hidden object scenes are mini-games, which are sometimes required for completing hidden object scenes. These mini-games usually consist of logical combining of items or connecting them. Also, puzzles are included, and there are many of them, some for the beginners, some for more advanced players. Some helpful thing inside the game are hints and option to skip puzzles, just in case you get stuck. Of course, you can always consult your journal for more information. There are also collectible instruments.

Finally, we come to graphics and music in Maestro: Music from the Void. Truth be told, graphics are great, but they are more or less the same like in other game from the series. Artwork is very good and there are many original scenes from Vienna. But the main emphasis is put on music, and believe us when we say that you will absolutely enjoy the music! There are several original sheets used for different purposes during the game. Sound effects are very good and not annoying, so you don’t have to turn them off.

All in all, Maestro: Music from the Void is a great hidden object game with elements of adventure and puzzles and mini-games. Nice graphics and phenomenal music place this game really high among other games. Enjoy!
