A family member has gone missing and you will need to figure out her while being tracked by an evil-doer. You are welcome to cast the first stone at me if you have never heard this story before! Once again a not very original Hidden Object story under the title Malice: Two Sisters try to win our hearts. Does it manage to do or not?.. Read more

In this case, you will take a role of young woman named Victoria who must crack tons of hidden object scenes in order to save her dear sister Emily from an evil entity. The scenes are fairly easy to complete, offering large, distinct items among the junkpiles. Some items require you to open cupboards or boxes, or otherwise interact with other items in order to uncover or repair them, and clue items will be given to you at the end of each.

However, some of the Hidden Object scenes suffer from a lack of balance. For example, you can see a miniscule pair of dice next to a huge apple. Such ridiculous sizes of the items might characterize Malice: Two Sisters as an amateurish game. Repetitive hidden object scenes just add on this feeling.

While you are playing, you often run into puzzles or mini-games on your adventure, but these come with little variety. Puzzles are easy and feel very detached with no real effort to integrate them in interesting ways.

As for the graphics, they are reasonable in the dark-spooky manner as you expect but some of the objects are too tiny and may be overlooked in the scenery. The sounds are just common and not very well-made.

All in all, Malice: Two Sisters isn’t able to impress us much as it lacks somehow in the atmosphere and story going.
