Alawar’s new hidden object game Vampire Saga: Break Out is the third chapter in the popular Vampire Saga series that once again has you investigating the dark, haunted locations of the town of Hell Lock. When Vampire Saga: Break Out started, we were sure that we would deal with a game of high quality. The graphics are well drawn and the gameplay is smooth and very logical. Then scene by scene the game pales inexorably. After several minutes of playing you realize that scene is laid in absolutely the same environment as Vampire Saga: Hell Lock. Soon you are involved in multiple backwards and forwards from scene to scene in order to find different items. So, the gameplay becomes extremely annoying, the objects are too tiny and make little sense, the music background is repetitive and boring. The plot… well… the plot unwinds very poor or it better to say doesn’t unwinds at all.

Still, one thing does work well in Vampire Saga: Break Out – the hidden object scene. Instead of ordinary “shop list” there are pictures of objects that are shown in circles and you have to find the objects and match them to the pictures. Additionally, there are few really scary creatures that make you creep all over.

In the end, when you think Vampire Saga: Break Out can’t get worse, fortunately, it ends. After several painful hours devoted to this game, you could be really exhausted. This game experience is able to give you nothing but huge disappointment. Unfortunately, it seems we’ve lost another good game saga.
