Whispered Stories: Sandman

Fortunately, this premise is far superior to the pathetic ghostly installments we were served yesterday and the day before yesterday. The story is an ordinary mix of a missing person and save him though, somehow it pulls me along. Every scene is cleverly integrated into the plot, providing the players with lots of intriguing quests. The hidden object puzzles are the most interesting aspect of Whispered Stories: Sandman as the items are always clear to see and some of them are interactive.

Although in Whispered Stories: Sandman the shades of brown color dominate, they don’t make the game grainy or muzzy at all. The graphics are so clean and crisp without any pitfalls that you want just more and more. The 19th century London setting is presented in a vivid way that plunge us into this epoch at once. The music background sounds repetitive a bit but still does not irritate so much.

Overall, Whispered Stories: Sandman brings nothing new to the genre but there are plenty of good things that make the play really fun. This kind of games that will never be the first but still simply nice to play. This just shows us that classical plot and smooth gameplay always worth more than originality with numerous irritating bugs. Happy gaming!
