Age Of Chivalry

Age of Chivalry is aged pretty well for a game that was released in 2007. It's Half-Life 2 mod that incorporates the Source engine with all its glory and physics. The gameplay is set in Medieval times and includes furious first-person melee with history authentic set of weapons (swords, axes, bows, etc.), settlement raids, and, of course, castle sieges using legendary machines like trebuchet and catapult. All these battles take place across picturesque source-rendered landscapes. The player is able to choose from three character classes: archers, footmen, and knights. Depending on the aftermath of each battle, you can have influence over events in the game. The harder you and your teammates struggle, the faster enemy forces will push back until there will be no place to go other than fight until the last man standing.
