Look who's talking! Zynga vs Vostu - thirst for money or for justice?

Zynga, the social games developer, has brought legal action aimed to punish Vostu, a Brazilian company for copy infringement. But look who's talking! The point is, Zynga developers themselves have been accused for the same fact! Therefore, to win a case, there must be extremely deep arguments.

Analyzing Zynga's submissions, as it is reported by Techcrunch, Vostu's screenshots of MegaCity are the dead spits of Zynga's CityVille indeed. Besides, Zynga affirms that the plagiary has even copied the errors of their games.

All in all, it should be mentioned objectively, that to win an action of copying means to head down a slippery slope, 'cause it's a practical impossibility in the contemporary market of games. In fact, duping is an integral element of business strategy here.

The main counter-evidence of Vostu company is that Zynga has been at the cookie jar, and charged Vostu illegitimately.

In the final count, money has become the basic stumbling block during the court trial. Zynga is going to levy $1 billion, while Vostu's monetary claim is $40 million. Perhaps, the court ruling will be in behalf of Zynga.

As it is already said, to carry a case for copy infringement is doubly difficult, when your own games are regularly copied. As for Zynga, it may be a successful party today, but it has every prospect to be a losing side in the public relations battle tomorrow.
