Enlightenus II: The Timeless Tower

The action takes place in a mysterious Timeless Tower, where famous watchmaker, Clarence Flatt, is trying to create Ageless clock. During one of the experiments a large explosion occures and all parts of the mechanism go into pieces and fly away in different parts of building, some of them are even lost in various time periods. The player has to travel in time and to find all parts of clock mechanism in order to help Clarence finish his life-work.

Apart from intriguing plot, this game has one more surprise. Creators decided to give up the banal search system, when it is necessary to find items from the list. In Enlightenus II: The Timeless Tower everything is vice versa: the player has a particular set of items to return on their places, following only his own logic. And it is not so easy as it seems. Standard search scheme will work only in the scenes, where you have to search for clock mechanism parts. Hints are also rather special: to learn where is situated one or another item, you should choose it in the inventory and click on a hint button.

Ancient Egypt, Antique Rome, flooded Venice, rainy England…All locations are very beautiful and well-painted. Puzzles are animated and very interesting. But if you do not know how to finish a mini-game, it always can be skipped.

Enlightenus II: The Timeless Tower is worth attention just because developers decided to change traditional search of objects and offered something entirely different. Though, that is why some hidden object fans may think that this game is too peculiar. In any case you should try The Timeless Tower for sure.
