Fracture The Flag
They say one-man game studios tend to neglect their products after the launch. In the case of Fracture the Flag, this statement is true. Being an army invasion battle simulator, this game introduced a fresh approach to real-time strategies. You can start either 1v1 or 2v2 player-versus-player game mode on a given map. Your goal is to take over an opponent's land by destroying their flags. Flags play the role of markers and designate zone around them to the ones who planted them there. These are crucial because no building can be placed if the area wasn't claimed by the flag. These are the main targets for your enemies as well. Destroying the flag means eliminate nearby structures. They literally will burn down to the ground if its accompanying flag isn't there anymore. Each round starts with equal resources distributed between opposing parties. It's up to you to manage your workforce and resource advantageously. There is no privilege except personal experience in the game. As one of you expands your land far enough, a conflict is imminent and you better be ready for it. It's too bad Fracture the Flag was abandoned since it had potential. It's still playable besides some bugs and optimization issues.
