The story drives you to a mysterious castle immediately where you should explore all rooms in order to free the souls of perished girls. Gravely Silent: House of Deadlock blends the common hidden object scenes and perplexing puzzles. While there is a lot of backtracking throughout the game, nothing ever can confuse or bewilder you very much. The tasks themselves are quite varied but lack challenge a bit.

As for the graphics, they are excellent and very suitable to the game scenario. There are plenty of good scenes, especially when you are traveling around netherworld. However, there are still too grainy scenes which ones are practically impossible to investigate. Fortunately, they are not so numerous and the hint system is generous that you are able to use as many hints as possible. The music background is unobtrusive and perfectly fits to the creepy game concept.
