Hero of the Kingdom

The storyline here is very impressive, though it’s not new. It starts off with the unexpected intrusion of the bandits in your quite farm life, then your father goes missing and basically the entire village ends up terrified. A new Hero needs to be found, so you get to earn this status first and then prove everyone you can save people and find your dad too, of course.

The plot keeps us excited till the very end and another good thing that there are other short storylines within the general one. As long as you complete your journey, you get to do several tasks like build something, look for something, overcome the obstacles, meet new people and help them and more. The game doesn’t offer you any instructions, you have to figure everything out by yourself, and in our opinion this is a weak spot. Not everyone is familiar with this type of games and a little bit of help won’t be useless. Though the original Hint system can be very helpful. All in all the gameplay is very entertaining.

Another weak spot is the visual representation. Unfortunately we can’t say anything good about it – graphics are dull, not colorful and not interesting. Nothing particular about the music and soundtrack either. In the terms of rating this game we are kind of lost. Gameplay is decent enough, the storyline is hooking, but visually this game could have been much better. So, we let you be the ones to rate Northern Tale 2.
