A hasty release of the second chapter in the series cannot but make us doubt about the quality of this title. If you remember, the first installment was rather good and got lots of positive comments. So, our question is obvious, whether the developers progress or just milk the reputation of its predecessor, House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets.

Fortunately, House of 1000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster is a worthy sequel to this horror-themed game series. As with the first title, the second one is also packed with a bunch of cleverly designed puzzles and hundreds of challenging hidden object scenes. There are about 30 mini-games and puzzles to complete across wonderful game’s 100 locations. The gameplay is very creative and the process of searching hidden items isn’t exhaustive at all.

Moreover the game has a very helpful map that shows you how different the locations are and let you know which locations you’ve already completed. In House of 1000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster, it doesn’t matter what mode you play (casual or expert) as both of them are ingenious. Neither beginners nor veterans will be abused there because each mode of the game is crafted according to the players skills.

Visually, House of 1000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster strikes us with its top-notch artwork. The exquisite graphics and ambient music background make feel a real participant of the game.

Summing up, this title is surely a good addition to the Hidden Object library. Alawar Entertainment rules!
