Imperial Island: Birth of an Empire

Don’t expect much from the storyline, they are never the best part of match-3 games anyway. Omadan’s empire was invaded by enemies and now it’s destructed. It’s easy to guess your job here – you will have to rebuild the empire and return it to its former state. Colorful artwork is one of the things that kept us entertained. Graphics are very detailed, bright and please the eye, they are a little cartoonish but it’s not a bad thing. Music effects are great and magnificent, totally fit this type of games.

You may think this is just another typical match-3 adventure, but its gameplay is what differs it from other games of this genre. Here it is incredibly various and super entertaining. Some power-ups and special items are truly innovative. The tasks are also different – you don’t just match the tiles of the same type, you get to load the resources or something like ship the boat to the bottom of the board and much more. We always appreciate when developers are being creative, when they have a little fun.
