Killing Floor

This is the first installment in a successful set of first-person shooters released by Tripwire Interactive. The goal of the game is to cleanse hordes of mutants on a designated map and stay alive in the process. A brief introduction lets us know that these abominations came to life as a result of some secret military experiments and spread on territories of England. The mission of your squad (if you choose everyone's favorite co-op mode for 6 players maximum) is to eliminate these freaks of nature. Each map has an original design and a unique set of monsters coming in waves. Between each wave, you have a little time to reload and trade gained points to the new Perks (the in-game improvements that can be assigned to the chosen character). Before going right to hell it is better to balance your squad with appropriate ranks and weapons. It can't hurt to include a medic in the team and pick up a proper rifle that put the miserable lives of the undead to the end. There is also an offline mode for a solo walkthrough for those who are brave enough to face death all alone. The motivational factor in Killing Floor is supported by steam achievements and free special events.
