Sky Noon
Lunar Rooster's sole effort Sky Noon in an incredibly fun and entertaining first-person shooter with a reimagined Wild West. Driven by drought, people relocated closer to clouds and created the so-called Floating Frontiers - the last outpost of humankind. You're playing the role of either a hired gun or cartel elite gunner who competes across several maps and game modes to find out who will become victorious. The fresh approach in this FPS game is an absence of bullets whatsoever. Customizable guns are powered with compressed air instead and your goal is to propel an opponent beyond the safe zone of the map. There are several equipment items to achieve that with fanfare: landmine, dynamite, and teleporter. In its turn, every player has a set of life-saving gear to escape from this worst-case scenario. Using a grappling hook that can be attached to any point of the floating island, you can get back to a firm surface in no time. It's also helpful to hop around the map looking for the most advantageous position to land a perfect shot. Lasso is at your disposal to restrain the enemy and pull it closer or throw it in any desirable direction. Jet boots will send you higher in the sky and the booster launches you forward. The game is great for multiplayer fun and has Free For All, Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Cart, plus recently added Money Bags modes for up to 6 players. Speaking of novelties, developers have added Icy Peaks duel map for competitive versus game. Sky Noon can be played with your friends and on dedicated servers. Since there are just a handful of players the former option of two might be your only choice if you're not into scripted singleplayer time trails.
