Tannenberg

Even though WWI FPS is dominated by Battlefield I, Tannenberg is a great war game to play at especially if you already have Verdun (the previous installment in the game franchise). While Verdun depicts the Western front, this game concentrates on Eastern operational theater. In both cases, developers did a tremendous amount of work to recreate weapons, terrains, and uniforms from the era. You have a chance to be enlisted in any of the following armies: Roumanian, Russian, Latvian, German, Austro-Hungarian, or Bulgarian. Intense battles across large-scaled maps will keep you on your toes and become even tenser with the introduction of chemical warfare. The Maneuver game mode including up to 64 players is a special delight. Players are divided into squads (with 4 troopers in each) and must complete various objectives such as raiding villages and survive the massive enemy outbreaks. Although Tannenberg servers are alive, you won't be left dissatisfied as you can always add bots along with some of your friends to play the game in all its glory.
