Black Mesa

Crowbar Collective take on an ambitious project to revitalize the good old Half-Life game by the brand-new Source engine back in 2005. Since then, the project has been going through several important revisions. Each revision converted it from being a simple mod named Black Mesa Source to the final version as we can experience it now. Besides adopting the Source Engine, developers went further and reimagined the final chapters of the iconic first-person adventure. As a result, we've got the realm of Xen completely redesigned and expanded. It was added to the Black Mesa definitive edition. Also, the new voiceovers and soundtrack were applied. Despite being new there is a dedication to the original and trueness. It is high time to check this remake out and maybe add your own creations in the form of mods.
