The Isle
The Isle suggest players assuming the role of one of the legendary prehistoric creatures and fight for the survival of its own and the whole species. There are two game modes: Survival and Sandbox. The first is intended for those who are eager to climb their way up through environmental difficulties and the constant danger of being killed. The latter is a more relaxed and slow-paced mode for those who enjoy walking their dino for a mile, get some food, and chill. Another big difference between these two is in the life cycle. Survival mode includes the whole cycle starting from a weak and vulnerable freshly hatched dinosaur and up to the point when the creature becomes a full-grown and highly skilled adult with a ton of unlocked features (such as nesting, for instance) if it won't be devoured by some carnivore in the process. Sandbox mode allows selecting a full-grown dinosaur right from the start. Luckily, each mode includes both herbivores and carnivores. Once you get used to intricate game mechanics, The Isle might become your personal go-to game when you'll be hungry for a decent open-world survival game with dinosaurs.
