Lost Chronicles: Salem

Besides worthy educational part of the storyline, which makes you think about humanity, there is a good entertaining potion as well. The hidden object scenes are vivid and crisp, even though they convey dark mood of Lost Chronicles: Salem. No fogginess and most of hidden items are very clear to see. Still, some of the objects are disproportional a bit and some extremely large which is nice for a change, but thankfully, there are no inappropriate items for the environment. The mini-games are fine, some of which are really unique for hidden object genre.

Lost Chronicles: Salem has all regular options: hint system, custom cursor, click penalties, the tutorials, location maps. The characters have high-quality 3D image. Some special effects are especially great adding much on game spooky environment. There are tons of cutscenes but you can easily click through it, if do not care about the story. Although the artwork is gloomy, you have no problems with finding this or that item. The music background is created to give you a sense of dismay because the developers believe that music helps set the mood. Overall, this gameplay is quite familiar but properly decorated and varied by different twists. This game installment should be really tried.
