The story of a crazy and sinister captain is told us by TabaGames in their new Hidden Object game under the title Secrets of the Seas: Flying Dutchman. .. Read more

This time around, you are to save your poor friend from the ugly ghost-ship known as Flying Dutchman. Although this game has the “rescue your fellow from evil-doer” theme, at least it’s done in a slightly different way. TabaGames have prepared a few spins on the plot, so we don’t want to be a spoiler.

Nevertheless, we cannot but compare Secrets of the Seas: Flying Dutchman to other pirate games out there. Honestly, the today’s Hidden Object installment isn’t the best one, however it goes its own way. None of the other pirate game has as many underwater scenes as this title. Every scene goes well with the theme of the game, diving you into a wonderful world of ocean. There are some really nice ocean graphics - with an occasional jumping sea creature, etc.

Thanks to the superb artwork, the Hidden Objects scenes are not only easy but pleasant to explore. While metal looks like metal, bronze looks aged, wood looks water-logged, Secrets of the Seas: Flying Dutchman looks highly attractive. The gameplay is good though, it is rather linear. The mini-games are a bit too plain and terribly unoriginal, fortunately the puzzles are much better and not so frustrating. The hidden object scenes are crowded, but all items are recognizable and clear.

Some players might don’t like lot of back and forth, however it doesn’t disturb much as it is a real pleasure to wander about these stunning locations. The music is totally appropriate for the game setting and is nice to listen to.

Summing up,  Secrets of the Seas: Flying Dutchman is a good game where you can spend all weekends.
